Students will be admitted to the undergraduate engineering courses through entrance test. It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify the entrance test to be eligible for admission. Admission will be purely done on the basis of candidate’s performance in entrance test.

Entrance Exam
In Maharashtra, admission in B.Tech programme is done through MH CET which is the state level entrance exam of Maharashtra. Additionally, admission will also done through JEE Main which is the popular national level entrance test for B.Tech and B.Arch admission. In IITs, admission is carried out on the basis of JEE Advanced.

The admission process begins with the filling of application form of entrance exam. Students can get the application form from its official website. The requirements that must be fulfilled by the candidates before applying for B.Tech admission are as follows:

Students should have passed/appearing 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English subjects.
Candidates must have secured minimum 45% marks in 10+2 examination. For reserved category candidates, the minimum marks should be 40%.
Selection Procedure
The selection will be done as per the candidate’s merit in entrance test. The distribution of seats will be done during counselling. For counseling process, candidates will have to complete their document verification. They will have to register themselves for counselling and fill their college choices and lock them by the given dates After seat allotment, candidates have to report to the allotted college campus along with seat allotment letter.
